Untitledby mciComment by bramscolnick: uh UH!! That looks right side up to me! (I just hurt my neck trying to look at her face). She's beautiful. |

Untitledby mciComment by lisae: This is a wrenchingly beautiful photograph. The only thing that gets me about it is the coyness of covering the nipples... it makes it seem self-conscious. The nipples themselves would add a great element to the outline of the breasts too... although I know that if they weren't given some support, her breasts would fall towards her armpits (I know, I have a pair myself as I commented on the hooters girl photo in the last challenge :). Still, 10 from me. |

Fire & Iceby mciComment by karmat: Sorry -- should read, "I had no problem with this . . " Obviously I do have a problem with English tonight. :-) |

Fire & Iceby mciComment by karmat: I agree with achiral. Though i did comment on the contrast of light and dark, I had not problem with this being a transition. I just assumed the fire was the catalyst for the transition. |

Fire & Iceby mciComment by joshua: transitions result in contrasts...and for the record, the building pictures that were in the top 20 are most definitely not true transitions, they are contrasts, and no one had a problem with them. interpretation was the key here, and you had to stretch your mind and realize that fire and ice is a transition, just like all the rest. by the way, nice job, i also did thermal ice and some were saying this about my picture. doesn't make sense to me. anyway good job on yours, your colors were better than mine |

Fire & Iceby mciComment by mci: thanks for all your comments. for the record, the transition i was going for was from cold to hot. thanks to all the idiots who said it wasn't a transition. i'm well aware that water never actually turns into fire. i fall into a trap in these challenges because i use a very bright flat panel monitor at home that always shows a lot more detail in the dark areas of the photo when compared to other monitors. i'm going to have to alot for that next time i take a dark shot. |

Fire & Iceby mciComment by drewmedia: Very cool photo! And your technique didn't fall short of the cool idea :) |

Fire & Iceby mciComment by dowski: The objects say "opposites" to me, but the action and the and visual quality satisfies "transition". |
