	Just another floral by rjpat Comment by Army of nOne: I like this picture, but I don't really see that it fits the challenge. This impression is embraced by your title, which instead of trying to make a tie to "Independence", discard its own relevance. I rate accordingly (5), but it is a wonderful flower photo.

Those suckers are more rigid than you think. I almost stalled my car doing so. (Sorry I cant contirbute anything useful, my phototechnical skills are subpar)
