this is such a cool idea, but it is just overwhelmed by the background. Maybe have him looking down at you on the ground so the sky is behind him - keeping the background a simple as possible 5

An excellent portrait of a willow tree I must say...but if the center of our attention is to be the person standing in front of it...perhaps a closer crop might have been in order? Not a face only type of crop, but atleast one that is a little closer...I just can't stop looking at that tree...quite wonderful really...but maybe this is your intention? hmmmm...quite intriguing.
