Yes, that is definitely a rattlesnake! It has interesting coloring...not sure what variety this one is. The head and tail are dead giveaways, though.

The flag is stuck into a jalapeno pepper, and the white stuff is allegedly crumbled bleu cheese. Of course now I'm more suspicious of the white stuff, but the menu did say it was bleu cheese :)
