very descriptive setup! the cracks on the asphalt strengthen the expression of intense heat. The slightly burnt egg further expresses this. Too bad I cant vote, or this will get at least an 8 from me. Technically also a good photo with good DOF use.

This is kind of cool because you chose to focus on the crowd rather than the fireworks themselves. My eye is drawn to the child in the front center of the picture since his face is just a bit lighter than the boy sitting closer to the camera. It's a shame he wasn't lit a little better since his body language and facial expression speak for the rest of the crowd.

The house is taking away from the UFO. Maybe if you had stood to right a bit more to reduce the amount of house showing. You did make me wonder why a UFO is in that back yard.

Three things that I always thought went with each other. At least they appear quite natural in this photo! Nice work! Lighting is a bit ordinary for an extraordinary idea, but then, maybe that's the point. Still, it might be fun to experiment with light levels and unusual points of view to build mood. On the other hand, I like the ordinariness of it! Gorsh, I can't make up my mind, so I'll just give you 9 and move on! Keep up the good work.
