I am a sucker for a clean cat shot. Great clarity and detail on kitty and the blurred background lines and patterns offer a good contrast to the curves of kitty. A pleasant shot overall but maybe lacking some of the serious WOW power of other entries.

The focus ont he cat is Sharp. Nice job and pretty cat. The out of focus region has good contrast colors but they don't really enhance this image IMO. The 3 orangish vertical objects (assuming a chair) and the black stripe running horizontally through the middle of the picture actually take away from the image.

Very nice kitty portrait, with bags of detail nice comp and a spot on focus and exposure (particularly nice exposure, no blown out hightlights). As for the background, for me it is a little distracting, even though it has been thrown well out of focus. Of course, the backgound is something to be given a lot of consideration as this is a Bokeh challenge.

I guess the bokeh is nice enough, but would have prefered a less busy BG, 6/10
