We saw them all along the route between Seattle and the ports of Alaska. AMAZING indeed! I saw two while I was on a hike, and hearing just the whales in an otherwise silent area was just incredible. What a noise!

One night during dinner we saw one that was jumping out of the water just behind the ship, and it kept doing so until it was out of sight. Very cool.
