Walker Pointby alanfreedComment by kvickrey: I tend to do this too, I see a pretty scene and shoot it. I want to capture the moment of the sounds, air, water, etc. But when showing an image to people who were not there, they are taking it out of context and cannot feel the photographers experience without a center of interest (the house is too far away to be one). Try placing something, like a child or a bird or something in the foreground, otherwise, its just a pretty scene, nothing special about it for the viewer. IMHO of course :) |

Walker Pointby alanfreedComment by BobsterLobster: Composition feels very unbalanced, way too much foreground, too much negative space on the right, too little sky. I don't really understand what you want to communicate with this photo, no colours, textures or forms jump out at me. There's not much mood to this photo. |

Eastern Point, Gloucester, MAby alanfreedComment by Quigley: This would make a great callender shot. I love the light and the roll of the tide. The sky looks like there was a storm coming in. I think that the edit you made was just the right tones and not over done. This should do well, best of luck. |

Eastern Point, Gloucester, MAby alanfreedComment by bassbone: pretty scene - the composition is solid and the lighting is nice and soft - i would have liked a bit more detail out of the light itself - it seems a little too soft a focus |
