Crossed legsby MelethiaComment by michaelmonn: i really love this faceless expression of casually waiting. my mind almost fills in the rest of the picture: a business man, middle aged, clean shaven with mid length peppery hair, covered mostly by his wallstreet-esque fedora, copy of german equivalent of NY times obscuring most of his face. waiting patiently as he has done for years. the train comes without fail. |

Temporary universeby MelethiaComment by michaelmonn: this might be my favorite from your portfolio just because ive never seen water look so soft, even in 5 minute exposure "DPClassic sunrise shots" ( what i like to call the inevitable winners of every challenge). rather than the exposure making the water soft looking the reflected bokeh and the hard contrasty forms of the pebbles create this serene feel that i get from the shot |

Restingby MelethiaComment by michaelmonn: wow ive never used lightroom but i should start! thats a great preset :P
i really like the juxtaposition of movement ( the bike) and rest
despite the number of shape and edges they really don't make the image too busy but rather enhance the geometric nature of the bike and her pose. i like it :) |

Snow peopleby MelethiaComment by Charlene: I like the interaction of the mother/daughter, which I think you also do a bit of family stuff too :) So maybe this isn't quite you're "signature" style, it's still you, imo. Lovely as always. And with some feeling, which is always a nice touch! |

Pedal pusherby MelethiaComment by NikonJeb: Can't believe the score. I gave youy a 7. The perspective, the tie-in to the title and the bike/shadows was exemplary. The voters are Philistines! LOL!!! |

Garden's goodsby MelethiaComment by tamatama: Well, I never 'get' how voters vote, and have taken several longer breaks from challenges.
But I like all the 3 shots, maybe the alternative green one best for the diagonal green/darkish divide.
In the left alternative photo the lensbaby blur works better than in this one.
(btw - I didn't vote, no time last week) Message edited by author 2010-03-03 23:58:30. |

Garden's goodsby MelethiaComment by citymars: I'm sorry to say I didn't get around to finishing voting in the challenge, because I thought this was a very good entry (no DNMC vibe from me at all). |
