Behold the Antenna!by MelethiaComment by bvy: Well, I try to be honest -- the risk, of course, being that I might step on the toes of someone I really admire. Title and border aside, I do like this. The crop still feels a little tight to me, but there is definitely some intriguing energy between the people and whatever is on the hill. Given that -- and now that I think about it -- I can't come up with a better title. |

Behold the Antenna!by MelethiaComment by PennyStreet: This should have done better, IMO. I love the people, the splash of red, the composition and the processing. Plus it's a beauty of a place. And you made it tell a story. Congratulations. |

Behold the Antenna!by MelethiaComment by MaryO: Seriously underrated! I gave this an 8, and it still cracks me up (personally, I love the title, and I barely noticed the border so it must not have bothered me). And yes, you did a lovely job with the processing. Go pat yourself on the back :-) |

Inlet no peopleby MelethiaComment by Germaine: I'm with Sarah -- the shot is more interesting with a person in it.
Beautiful reflections and you really caught the "gray day" light. |

Gull sun by MelethiaComment by vawendy: Ooooh! I love this! I think your other one was a better choice for free study, because I don't think people take time to appreciate subtlety. There is something just peaceful and wonderful about this. |

Hendry's 410by MelethiaComment by vawendy: No... I don't think it would have done as well... The top part is just gorgeous, but I think the bottom part being so dark would turn off a number of voters. I find it intriguing, but I'd bet that some others would be wanting more detail. |
