Opposite directionsby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Always love these observational shots of yours - they capture so much that could otherwise be overlooked.
One large character headed out of the shot to the left - five small ones exiting stage right.
One out for leisure - five carrying out the important task of surviving.
The surfer wanting the big waves in the background - the waders happy with the remains of the wave as it washes up the beach in the foreground.
Both sets in a hurry.
Both sets momentarily together in time and place for different reasons - vaguely aware of each other but more focussed on the task in hand. |

Into the Great Wide Openby MelethiaComment by RianBotes: A very nice suspended feel about this and it works. I like this. Something Im uncertain of is what the image would have looked like with longer focal length and more compressed feel..and even without the bar running accross the top. The comp does work with it there but it's just an alternate I was wondering about |

Into the Great Wide Openby MelethiaComment by timfythetoo: You know I never would have guessed this was yours, yet when I went to look at the images I faved in this challenge this was the first image I came to to check. Go figure. Lovely image. If it were of either of my kids I would be printing it out HUGE and hanging it in an instant. Now - go figure out which is mine. ;) |
