Oh I love this, Deb. My mom still tells me stories about "the good ol' days" there with my dad and friends of theirs in the 40's. No matter what else goes on, the beach still looks the same. This is symbolic for me. I like it a lot.

There is something immensely amusing about this image for me. Perhaps it's the identical body position of the two lead characters, who appear to have just walked away from some sort of conspiring moment, and are trying to act casually, like they don't know each other. They're even looking down in the same way, and both leading with their left leg. Of course, upon closer examination, the one on the left doesn't have his arms behind him, but my first impression was that he did :-)
