Yes, now this is about the structure. You chose a great tone, gives it a sickly, aged, feeling. I'll be interested to hear about the compositional choice given the leaning post; I wonder if cropping the right third will make for a stronger composition, and further emphasizing that great light upon the structure.

Definitely prefer this version. I would consider deepening the blacks superiorly, it will highlight the long shadows.

This somehow reminds me of an old movie set. The blur gets the job done, and I agree that the curved corner makes a beautiful sweep of color and motion in the image.

So much going on here. The centre post and shadow makes it into a natural dipthych, with the story on the left of two cyclists on the pier close by, and on the right, pedestrians in the distance. The high-key sky adds a sense of mystery, wonder, as does the hint of something above the cyclists. A beautiful image all-round.
