Absent mindedby MelethiaComment by timfythetoo: I liked this shot. The softness worked well withthe light and shadows. B&W was the way to go. The perspective was cool too. Underrated Deb. This should have scored higher. |

Multiple contrastsby MelethiaComment by timfythetoo: Wow - no comments in challenge. I have had some that I thought were gonna come close but you did it. I guess that and the score you received is a realtive good thing. It may not have been good enough to get the "Great Job" comments but at the same time it didnt get the "This Sucks" comments either. I thinkn you hit the two areas that made me give this a 5. Not enough contrast - I was expecting a more radical contrast effect or feel. And not a wow pic. A bit boring from the initial open. Technicals seem fine and blah blah blah. But if we are going the route of the reaction club then I think you have the issues pegged. |

Tire, ironby MelethiaComment by timfythetoo: Well - I gave this one a five. Met the challenge in that you had two unrelated objects but it didnt grab me. The added noise didnt grab my attention in a good way. What can I say - this aint no bird on a wire shot. |

Multiple contrastsby MelethiaComment by Kelli: I'm not a good judge of contrast. That's why I didn't enter this one. It's funny, you wrote in a thread that I said it was boring. (It was Kirsty). The sky seems really flat and it seems you only have light on a very small portion of one building. |

Tire, ironby MelethiaComment by Kelli: I really like this one Deb! But, then it's the type of image I would normally produce. Very quirky! Of course, I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near a 5 if I had done this. Adding to my favs! |

The River Letheby MelethiaComment by Kelli: Absoutely beautiful shot! The water has that warm, low light reflective quality that Bear's shots usually have. Did he show you some PP pointers while you were there too? |

Ready for his closeupby MelethiaComment by JunieMoon: Very sharp shadow on this one. Overall, the image may be too overblown in the highlights of the foreground. Your shadow, though, is extremely carved and grabs the eye most. |
