This is an uncommonly good and uncommonly interesting photograph for DPC.

By that I mean that nearly everyone here is an admirer of unequivocal photography, and wants to produce nothing more – and certainly nothing less – than that themselves: The kind of stuff that really impresses the family and friends.

But not so many are brave enough, nor curious enough, to produce the slightly discordant stuff that sows doubt and confusion, including in themselves. Photographs like this fabulously insurrectionist picture, that resists immediate resolution and ferments restlessness of the imagination.
