Tom in windowby MelethiaComment by Marjo: I like this a lot. You're right about the level windowsill. Would have been voted down for sure. Too bad. Love the light and the "blown" sky. Suits the capture perfectly. :) |

Eyedby MelethiaComment by Jutilda: This certainly suits the the challenge and is a heck of alot more interesting than many of the top contenders. I'm just not getting the voters these days. |

Eyedby MelethiaComment by noraneko: Well Deb, I was one of your higher scores, and think this is underrated. Of course, I love cats, and I know some people are biased against them. I actually think this would sell well - it is the type of thing I would buy, at least. Great photo! |

Minimal dogby MelethiaComment by bmartuch: Good job Deb. I like the way that almost everything is either a silhouette or very bright. I think you did a fantastic job with the lighting in this shot. |

Minimal dogby MelethiaComment by BeeCee: I liked this very much. The main subject is most definitely a very small part of the shot!
Yes, there is a lot in the frame, but the use of contrast to remove detail keeps the eye drawn back to the poor dog.
I also like your choice to cut off the head of the person, rendering them as merely another object towering over the tiny creature.
I really am surprised this didn't score higher!
