The more I look at this, the more I like it. It's beautiful street photography in the sense that it's a capture of people just going about their business. I love the guy on the left caught in mid-stride. The blur makes this a universal shot -- it could be anywhere -- South Central Los Angeles, Mexico, where you are, anywhere. But yeah, it would have gotten hammered in a challenge.

I love it. People will surely criticize the blown windows but I think they're perfect. Nice balance in the composition and an elegant conversion to BW.

The bold color gives strength to the blur. I'm a little slow warming up to this one because the blur messes with mind, takes longer to digest, but I really do like this. In the street challenge you would probably have got nailed by the impulse votes. Very nice Deb!

ok. i know i'm weird but i'm thinking theres a story here...it looks like a run down area(although i know theres a lot of that where you are right now) but from an american perspective makes me think downtown, secluded, drug cartel meeting spot type area. and the viewer/person seeing this image was just roughed up for some reason and thier vision is blurred from being punched in the face a few times, they are just looking up for a moment to get there bearings before they limp away..that's how I see. it. kinda cool.

When I bring this up I feel like I'm waking up in a dream state - not sure a good or bad dream. Breaking the photo in sections - the pink wall to the right - the opening to the left - adds visual interest to the photo.
