just love the way the reflection disappears into the darkness. I love reflections, but I hate symmetry. Here's one solution to my dilemma.

we have seagulls in western NJ. It's an hour and a half from the coast, and that's without traffic.

I don't know if this needs acid or not, but it looks great. the unexpected shadow is striking (so to speak), and then you realize that might explain the blur on the ax handle (or is that the acid action?).

way to use short to your advantage! the dof is perfect. The bird's head is tack sharp and the pole is just a little bit fuzzy. perfect.
