I see you're getting some mixed reviews on this one, but personally, I like it. Rich tones, and the grout lines in the floor add to the interest for me. I do think the reflections are nice.

It's funny that so many people have had experiences with the old bugs. I learned to drive in a brand new 1965 bug that I think my dad paid about $2,000 for. It was a really good car.

How cool! I love the rear window on these older bugs! One thing I've discovered with pic's of VW's, is for some reason they are very difficult to convert to B&W!? Maybe it's the colours they came in!? They do like a bit of acid though! ; )

48?? Holy cow. I didn't know they went back that far. I've said a million times that I learned to drive stick shift on a 64. I love the way they drive to this day. Terrific angle and the touch of sepia really adds to the nostalgia of it.

i like the idea alot, but i think it didnt work out in execution, the reflections are kind of there, but not enough to draw attention like that should. the bw conversion looks good, good contrast and decent comp, it just didnt happent the way you saw it i think.

To be truthful, did not like it very much. For me, this picture does not speak very much. I spent two three minutes why you shot it. Your notes say it is because of reflection. But it does not do for me. Sorry.

I have to say that I am not really a cat person, but I did like this shot, simply for the incredible colour and hairfine (literally) sharpness along Tabico's nose, which menat that the viewer could almost 'feel' the picture
