Hummingbird pairby MelethiaComment by JakeKurdsjuk: Oh please, change out that packaged red food!! The dye actually weakens their egg shells. Make your own, it's incredibly easy and cheaper - 4 parts water, 1 part sugar. Bring the water to a boil, turn off the heat and stir in the sugar until it's dissolved. The red plastic on the feeder is enough to attract them.
And I believe what you have here is a Rufous on the right, and likely an Anna's on the left. Message edited by author 2015-04-18 03:55:38. |
