I think this shot is wonderful. I love the fact that you can see the windows in the eyes, but the eyes are so warm and inviting. You feel real emotion from these eyes, which is so very hard to do. I think everybody would like to have this woman as their friend. She looks amazing.

So yes, a cat's eyes are incredibly detailed and interesting and definitely worthy of focus, but so is the fur pattern on a cat's nose!! I love this image, the framing is excellent with so much depth, the cat's expression is wonderful (like, how dare you enclose me!), and the detail in the focal point of the image, the NOSE, is excellent! IMO, it is perfect as is :-)

Fits the theme well, average subjects though. Great colors, but if all the flowers had been purple, this would have popped more. Focal is good, but overall an average shot. A 5.

Hm. A bit over exposed, and unbalanced light on the leaf patterns hurts here. Fix those, and this is a fine entry into the challenge, but technicals send this below average to a 4 for me.
