Hi!by MelethiaComment by cgino: I really like it a lot too!! This is wonderful: love the crop with the smiling face right in the corner, just the perfect amount of blur, and I agree with Karen, that type of border really suits this image! |

Tea spoonby MelethiaComment by Techo: Loved the tone and mood of this. Was my pick for a ribbon. Beautiful shot all around, technicals and all. The point of focus is perfect with the composition as it leads us into the shot. Like a leading line. |

Tea spoonby MelethiaComment by Alicia: What a beautiful and thoughtful image, Deb. The BW tones are exquisite, as well as your focus on the spoon handle and the little flower on the cup. It really tells a story. Love it. Congrats on your top... um... 30?? Should have been higher. |

Tea spoonby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Deb, very nice shot. Great DoF and PoV.
Lovely patterns in the cup and spoon.
P.S. I notice you only showed us the clean end of the spoon :- P |

Tea spoonby MelethiaComment by SaraR: I didn't look at the silverware challenge while it was in voting, so this is new to me - it's lovely! The composition is really pretty, and the tonal range is superb, really bringing the pattern in the spoon out. I gather you don't normally drink tea - shock, horror! |

Tea spoonby MelethiaComment by meyers: I had a special spoon growing up; I found it under my mom's car one day, and used it (after washing it, of course) for about 20 years before it got lost in a move.
Nice tones in your shot, and excellent DOF on the handle. |

Tea spoonby MelethiaComment by tnun: Sedate? Is that the word? Wouldn't have thought it was you until I examined the photo more closely, and even then... The ever so subtle mirroring of flower pattern in the china cup which you managed to include in your narrow DOF: what a treat! Message edited by author 2008-03-12 00:39:44. |
