Deb, you have a very good eye for spotting vignettes within a crowded scene.
Out of a whole crowded city skyline, you have noticed, and captured a tiny vignette, a counterpoint between old and new.

I love the leading lines in this, they draw the eye directly to the man and the dog. This looks very good in black and white, it was rather bland and washed out looking in the color version.

Aha, this is a prime example of a shot that is so much better in B&W. Good job cloning out the car (They do get in the way sometimes, don't they?) I can't figure out if the road is actually a bit wet, or if it is actually just the road surface, it looks a bit shiny to me. I like this a lot.

Great find. Those bright cherry warm colors look so out of place against the drab and dreary weather, as accentuated by the harried shopper carrying her umbrella and bundled up against the cold. The brightly colored clothes of the person behind the flower stand blend right in, and make her or him appear to be part of the cart.

He looks like he's heading in two different directions at once. Nice capture of the expression on his face, and you did well capturing that expression while fighting off the shade thrown by his cap. Nice start to your walkabout.

There really is something about European railway stations. Can't put my finger on it, but they do photograph well, especially in B&W
