This shot almost reminds me of the avenues in Worms (city on the rhine river)it was pedestrian only...and there was a great ice cream shop - Simone (???) I could get a mix of ice cream, but it wasn't American ice cream...but it was heavenly.
Grrrr...I'm not able to recall all the memories from when I was there.

I like the gentle contrast between the men and the backdrop. Btw, the man on the right (in the plaid scarf) looks very much like my grandfather, who was the editor a small town newspaper.

Oh, I LOVE this one. It has such personality. I love where they are sitting in front of the ultra modern, uber-young, window display. It gives it such an interesting street feel. Makes me want to go downtown at lunch today and look for pictures. But we don't really have cool window displays like this in our downtown -- with benches in front of them -- I don't think

Well captured, excellent b/w conversion, well balanced crop except for the black bar at the right half of top edge that looks a bit like film rebate. Nice, bit not the most striking image, though. Less DOF had enhanced this IMO.

I do like this macro, & did during voting too, but rated it average due to my not making a connection to anatomy. My initial thought was unappetizing droopy corn dogs, I figured it literally to be actually what it is - a rather unique botanical specimen.
