Now I want a glass of Leibfrau Milch! The Church is located in Worms. I like to keep a bottle on hand because I was there. I am having a blast looking at these!

A side note: my Onkle Franz took me wine buying at a local grower in his region (Worms) and I have a set of the little taster glasses. We sat down in a special room and tasted different wines in small juice like glasses with the seal of the vineyard.

castle tours like this really give an American a feel for "true" historical buildings. I sat for hours on a brick wall in Worms staring at the Dome St. Peter imagining all the history that went with each brick.

Bingen to Koblenz has all the castles as I recall ...and there is a special monument high on a hill...I know this is vague but it was a long time ago 1976 or 1980 when I was there. Can you refresh my memory?

I love looking at your shots from Germany because it reminds me of when I was there

Ah - I thought this might be the work of a 10-22mm - I do quite fancy those.

Love the composition, multiple textures, and the super saturated colours !

Really strong shot - maybe you should think about putting this in the landscape challenge ?

There is a lot of detail in this shot to pick through , like the water traffic, and the multiple rail lines, the terraces on the far bank, along with it's houses and road.

What at first looks like a big open landscape is actually busy and bustling.
