I like this. Great perspective, strong colors on the building that make it stand out, and I like the curved pattern of the bricks that pulls my eye up to the red building. My only nitpick is the bright area through the right doorframe. Some burning would tone that down, though in basic rules all you could do is to crop a little tighter.

I think this would have been great for the 'Doors' challenge - I love the symmetry, and the splashes of colour against the more muted tones in the rest of the picture.

You've got shape, textures, colours, geometry, symmetry - the whole shooting match in here - but hey - who knows what the voters would have made of it . .

This image is fantastic. The details in the shadows, the swirling textures of the cobblestones/ bricks, the gray bleakness of the foreground, the rich warmth of the street beyond, the excellent angles created by this very generous light.
