I love this shot of a Ferris wheel and while you weren't too pleased with my comments during voting I still maintain that it was a stretch in terms of the challenge description.
But nevertheless; I still like your image and voted it a 6 - not really too far from the average you received. It would have been nice to see some movement but the lighting you managed to get is fantastic. The angle and focal length is perfect for this shot.
If the challenge topic had been amusement parks of Ferris wheels I would have voted a 7. A DNMC or shoehorns is usually not a reason for me to deduct points. A great image with photographic interest although DNMC will always get a higher score from me than a mediocre image right on challenge target.
