This reminds me of the old apartment building I lived in when growing up in Brooklyn, NY. The clothesline went out much further than this and you had to lean out pretty far out the window to reach the rope that was attached to a rusty old pulley. The damn thing wasn't very safe especially being 5 stories up.

Anyway, nice image. Everything fits in the frame comfortably. There's a harmony.

I really don't understand this site at times, this is fantastic! Perhaps more my style than the masses? It gives you a sense that this man is working his heart out and people just pass by, and of course, it's B&W(!!), excellent!
