Beautiful photo, the framing is very nice and the subtle lighting is perfect for the tone of this photo.

It is indeed very near Atlanta, I am glad you enjoyed it. This scene is medicine to my soul and I did sit and rest a bit. Hated to leave.

Comment by Kathy:
Oh, my Gosh. This is so beautiful. The colors, the lighting, and the general composition have worked to make this one of my favorites.

I truly needed somewhere to sit and rest (not sure how well this bench will work for my Arthritic hips though!)

Someone raised the question in a recent forum about what criteria must be met to designate a photo as a "Favorite." I do believe it when the eye touches the heart for one sweet moment.

Thank you for seeing this wondrous place and "telling" me about it.

Kathy

PS: Is this near Atlanta?

I agree with you, I could live in an old log home like that one, too. Nice candid self portrait, I like the rest of the shot, too!

I gave it a seven. The problem is that the letters are not that obvious, they are not the picture's main point of interest.

Comment by 2Shay:
I gave the picture a 4. It needs more contrast, the picture looks "greyish". The clouds have a lot of noise in them. The focus is a bit soft, I can't tell what the point of focus was. I also found it hard to find the letters. I shouldn't have to rely on the title to figure out what I am looking for. Although the picture has a nice compositon, the quality of the photograph itself was lacking. Those are my observations.

without looking at your title, I could not see the letters in your image... I love the shot, though!!!
