Nice bright colors on the kayaks! Something about the falls looks a little off to me, but I can't put my finger on what it is....good job with the composition for this shot. Plenty to look at.

Very pretty, a little too centered, I like the spray from the waves shows its windy day.

Compositionally this is fascinating. Ignore the foreground elements, and the composition is basically symmetrical, centered subject and centered horizon. But it's really two sub-compositions, with the land/sea horizontally striated into thirds and the sky/lighthouse a bottom-weighted rectangle with the lighthouse centered horizontally. What makes the composition work, in the end, is the lighter clouds at the top, and usually that's a no-no, with images working best with the top darkened to contain the eye and redirect it into the center. But in this case the eye would stop dead at the lighthouse without the luminosity at the top, which causes us to swoop up, as it were.

Probably more than youw anted to hear :-) My only real complaint here is the purplish cast to the sky, which seems a little overdone, but it's not a big deal. Very strong image.

This could be a great shot with some better contrast. It seems like the darks are too dark and the lights are too light, maybe a bit less contrast would have been better. Great composition though!

Comment by GrayGhost:
Nice depth layers, posts, colors, clouds, and capture of the waves apparently blown by the wind. Interesting, and I like it. Less central lighthouse would be better.
