Certified Assistance Dog "Karma"by Bear_MusicComment by RedOak: Very nice and honorific composition. That beast knows what its doing! Colours are a little blend (background mostly) but doesn't drag away too much from the shot. Lighting could've been a little bit more dramatic (is this shoot 100% natural light?) Perharps a reflector could've helped some. Not sure i like the frame. It doesn't give the pic any "more". I believe the white is what throws me off. 6 |

Certified Assistance Dog "Karma"by Bear_MusicComment by RayEthier: This is one incredibly good photo. How you ever managed to get that beautiful working dog to pose for you like that is beyond belief. The image is clear, crips and a definite eye grabber. THe collar and the NEADS logo are two other factors which draw your eyes to this beautiful animal.
Since I know what NEADS stands for, I have a good idea who took this picture, but that will not detract me from giving you a well deserved 10 :0) hehehehe. Good luck with the challenge. |

"Primordial Soup" — Where Life Beganby Bear_MusicComment by 2Shay: I gave it an 8. Looking at the original now, I would still give you an 8 for the image, but a 12 for how you got there! I'm pretty green at PhotoShop, and often amazed at what can be done. Learning a lot here from seeing what others have been able to do. Keep up the excellent work!

"Primordial Soup" — Where Life Beganby Bear_MusicComment by undieyatch: fyi seven....... underated on my scale.
Excellent colour work, even though obvious ps and edit, fantastic blue and foam...
funky green and brown/red gunk is digital pasty, but alive and contributes wierdly.

runnels on beach.jpgby Bear_MusicComment by neophyte: I like it, however, the glare takes away from the incredible texture of the sand, especially the gull foot prints and "run off streams". Do you think a polarized lens would've helped? Message edited by author 2005-04-05 21:40:19. |
