This is truly a beautiful picture. The warm lighting on the boat sets it off nicely. The picture seems framed with the blue sky at top matching the blue water at the bottom.

Well, I love the simple elegance of the composition. It's harmonious and balanced, in an asymmetrical kind of way. I also don't mind that the image is so soft; I think that's appropriate to the character of the scene (and of course to this challenge). I'm afraid I don't like the hand ... it seems pointless to me and robs the scene of some of its charm. I suppose you were concerned that without a blindingly obvious time exposure gimmick, DPC commentators would attack you for "not meeting challenge". Alas, you're probably right. 6
