Gretchen, Mark, Rosie Jack — 3 Generations in Sunset Lightby Bear_MusicComment by Bear_Music: Re: the color, it was shot at sunset and that's the naturallight; I left it alone.
Re: the BG blur, this was a snapshot the evening of the challenge, of my neighbors who came to dinner. There's VERY distracting fence etc back there; the blurred fence is that is "haloing" the baby's head. I didn't want to obliterate it for fear of DQ.
Thanx for all the comments!

Fisherman at Duskby Bear_MusicComment by srbrubaker: I should be very surprised if this is what the camera saw - looks like we just took the green gamma curve down a few notches. It's a little wierd, but it mostly works, I think. The stick in the foreground is a problem. And the white whatsit behind the fisherman is a distraction. Otherwise, a good effort. |

Fisherman at Duskby Bear_MusicComment by bfox2: The purple effect is cool in the sky and the water, but it shows up so many other places that it makes it very unnatural and fake looking. |
