I just love this picture. It feels like another time and place. The lighting is great with the long shadows coming off the tombstones and the storm about to rage from above. One of my favorites.

I like what you were trying to achieve but I feel it is overdone: the gaussian blur is to strong and especially the light in the hair around the model's head. Reducing the effect a bit would give this more impact.

I like your own analysis of your picture (in the "Cheater, cheater ..." thread). It is not presumptuos to analyse your own pictures, but it is quite daring to do so in public :)

To me, you picture is beautiful because it speaks of peace, gentleness and kindness, and good times outdoors, and because it has strong and vibrant colours. It is a very restful picture, yet not at all static. It makes me go, "Ahhhh!", and then, "I need to go for a walk!".

I'm sorry you couldn't keep the ribbon for it. It is a virtual ribbon, but so much fun.

Congratulations on your ribbon anyway.
