After looking at this shot, now I understand your comment on my Reflections without Mirrors entry much more...very similar look. Without the trees, it just wouldn't have the same effectiveness of scale. I like it.

While it certainly looks as if you used a single lightsource for the image, I don't think it adds drama, or is even an improvement for the image. Some more even lighting and lack of shadow would be better, IMO. I do like the arrangement and colors, and the background you used, it's not very typical for this kind of shot but it adds even more texture. ... reminds me that it's almost about time to make supper :)

Well you know I'm new to macros. I've tried flowers but can't get one to come out as good as this one! The green, red and then yellow makes this shot look like it was "setup" but so natural at the same time.
