How'd I miss this?? It is excellent on many levels. The contrast - spot on. The leading line - interesting and perfect to make the eye travel. The symbolism - well that speaks for itself. Great job. I love this very much. Adding to favs right now.

If I had commented on this during voting, your Avg (Commenters) would be 8.25. I liked it - the shadow gives either a sinister feeling or one of slight silliness, depending on the viewer's mood. ;-)

Ooh, I have one like that too. Good idea! Good composition. I like your concentric circles and scratched silver bowls, chromey monochromatics. Very pleasing as is, but I bet this will be fun for you to enhance further once free of the basic editing rules.

Totally underrated! I love the mirror-like appearance of the lake ;) The colors are fascinating and breaking the horizon with the subtle silhouettes of the trees really makes this image sing.
