I felt the background color just wasn't there although I think the choice of light background very a wise choice as the dark areas in the image would have been lost and I really do like the reds and browns in the image as they help to offset any negative aspect from the background. I also like the edging you did. I think you did an excellent job on this in the post processing!

I love the foregound detail and lighting in this one. I'm a little bugged by the slight overexposure in the sky, but that's forgivable, especially in basic editing when 2 raw conversions can't be combined.

I can't believe I missed such a beautiful photo. I love the soft pastel purples and blues - the color in this image is really powerful and helps to portray a mood. The shapes are another important element that keep me interested and make up a significant amount of the impact of the shot. Beautiful.

the not-so-direct perspective in this photo makes things appear coming towards you, in a very special kind of way. The rocks, the clouds, the horizon too. Not sure if you had created the vigdnetting pn the left area on purpose, but it again makes the eyes trail towards where the rocks are. wonderful pic.
