fine feature photo, but probably not what the typical dpc voter is looking for in this challenge. you'd probably have done better if you had gone and bout some police tape and created your own crime scene.

Very nice view...at first a little busy with all the antennae, but the compositional split between the top, middle and bottom is very nice. The color shift in the sky is excellent (good timing). The amount of light/detail on the boats is perfect. Nice job!

Nice technically and does look like something we'd see in the papers.

It won't affect my rating of this shot, but I don't think your title needs to be trying to prove this is journalism - the shot does it on its own. That said, to me the title is not part of the challenge, a good photo showing a journalistic angle is and this one has those.

I love the feel of this shot. Considering that there really isn't any main subject it still captures your attention. It's almost like the trees are coming at you or you're moving into the image - a sense of movement, which is a bit surreal. You did a wonderful job of exposing for this challenging scene. Very nice! Good luck in the challenge.
