hi Bearman, not sure what I think about this one! I keep hoping a little fairy person will come out fo that lower petal, or a tiny elf! maybe you can PS one in -eh? or a cute little bug? :)
the detail on that one sharp petal is amazing-it looks almost like raw linen fabric. and belies the smoothness of a tulip's petals, not sure I'll ever see them the same usual way again!

This looks like a yellow rose, not sure. Crazy about the DOF; LOVE the softer parts of the image. The part in focus along with the darker center does remind me of the mouth of perhaps a fish...
