I have never been a "professor", which is an earned title of distinction, but I did teach photography at the University of California and in Zone System workshops, and the bulk of my working career was spent as an architectural photographer. I just happen to be good at explaining things about photography,. I think :-)
And of course my opinions are just that; *opinions* — not everyone agrees with my aesthetics (see my very low scoring average for the proof), and I'm just an average good photoshopper for someone of my experience. It just so happens that this experience is rather extensive, but this is a function of age more than brilliance :-)

Day Twenty-sixby Bear_MusicComment by sherpet: Awesome centre in this one, with great detail and textures, and "wow", what color, as it is nearly bright enough to light a room..... |

Day Twenty-sixby Bear_MusicComment by annig: Originally posted by Bear_Music: Originally posted by annig: ok, is this your textbook image for Luminous? (w/a capital L !!) |
Yeah, this one is VERY luminous :-) But "luminosity" as a concept doesn't have to be extreme, merely present. It describes giving life to the light. BTW, this is nearly straight from camera... |
thanks; I think it's lovely... Oh, BTW, since this is "nearly straight from the camera", then I can only conclude you too are quite Luminous
(ie very bright!)
Bear, I agree with stargazer (see below); feel I have learned quite a bit just by reading your comments on all the photos, not just mine. thanks for sharing your expertise in this side challenge...now I can't wait to see what you do with Goodman's anti-sharpness Ride! ok, we've hit your quota of ego stroking for today! :)

The art of a good teacher is relating to students and u have done that through out the challenge drawing the conclusion u might be a professor..
Enjoy your wit/humor and know there's a lot of merit in what u say..
Appreciate the make over of my lily.. Helpful to see the difference.
Thank you.. |
