You did! You did use the sweet spot! Have you been hanging out in Jedusi's portfolio lately? Does he know you've appropriated a rhino??

Nah, this isn't ice. This is an amazing sunflower made entirely of wind and snow that fades into a painting underneat, or so it seems to me. Love the flow, the texture, the feel of this.

How do you get the sorta fisheye effect to this? I can't tell if the ground is falling away from me or me toward it!

Hey, you've decided not to go all abstract on us today, Robert. This artificial fella actually has some downright emotive qualities.

Ha, ha - he's got such a baleful look - a little fed up, a little resigned. "Damn tourists" ;)

This makes me laugh. His expression is about right for a rhino stuck in the snow. And this is not the first time you used a sweet spot. That shot of the man on the road stepping out of the woods is very sweet.

Yes that removeable piece can get you within an inch, closer than the other +4 and +10 attachments. Nice abstraction here - has a cool marbling look, like endpapers in a fancy book.

It's funny how the LB blur obscures the pavement enough through 3/4s of the shot that you can almost imagine it as a seascape, gazing out at the reflected sunset.
