Despite being a tad over sharpened this is a very nice shot. The lily would have benefited from being further off-centre (right) which would prevent the grass 'touching' the lily. [6]

Nice shot that meets the challenge a couple of ways, in my opinion. Not only is the whiteness of the flower contrasting with the darkness of the rest of the shot, its sharp lines contrast quite nicely with the rounded lines of the lily pads. That said, I would give it a higher score if the flower were better exposed and less blown-out. --7

Nice shot! I'm a tad distracted by the tall grass in the foreground underneath the flower. Lots of contrast to be found though... Round and spikey... black and white... clear and murky water.
