the darkness of the forest is not overwhelming or foreboding. But the path that leads in adds an element of mystery.

Nice green color, good concept and idea. For this challenge some voters may think you should have more of the darkness of the forrest in the image then you have. They may think the strait on perspective from a standing position is unimaginative. The black point of the image is not set properly. The significance of the person standing in the shade is not immeduiately apparent how it supports the theme.

If the image were taken from ground level closer to the forrest but still showing the bright sunshine on road and grass in forground and having the person walking away into it with a proper set black point would have a lot more impact.
