I usually prefer seeing tall, strong trees in middle of an empty field, but this little one trying to grow surrounded by taller trees inspires a lot of courage and strength also. Good depth of field. I would have cropped a little more on the right and maybe show a bit more on top of the small tree. I am not very credible on judging and comparing to Ansel Adams work since I do not know him very well, but it sure is very contrasty, but lacking a bit of the "landscape" aspect. Good job.

not sure that the blue is a light color - bright color, yes - and the slight blur at the top of the droplet is a *tad* distracting, but otherwise very nicely done. I like. -7-
