Now imagine you're on location on the last day of a paid job. You get home to the studio, process the negatives (4x5 B/W) and find the bag :-(

There are two schools of thought here: always use black bags 'cuz they're less visible if they sneak into the shot, especially in the shadows, OR use yellow bags and orange bags and so forth so it's easy to do a running check :-)
