Swazi Lo-Fiby ubiqueComment by 2mccs: Brilliant on so many levels. I hate to admit that I did not know ( or forgot) about Swaziland. One more example of the limitless cruelties humans can inflict on others. Thankfully you have softened the story with the clever introduction of Paolo and his beautiful low tech photographs. In support of Herman's comment I too will see these images in my imagination much longer than any the safe handed McCurry might have taken. Thank you for sharing this wonderful essay. |

diaboliqueby ubiqueComment by 2mccs: Oh wow, horrific and amazing. The processing makes it look more frenzied which adds to the powerful impact of the shot. How close were you to this? I guess they already have something to eat so maybe you wouldn't look so appetizing. 10 |

diaboliqueby ubiqueComment by sidpixel: Grisly subject matter but the natural world captured in all its gory detail. I can see you wanted to emphasise the main elements but it feels as though your post processing is just a bit too heavy handed for my liking but thats just my opinion, anyway good luck |
