outskirtsby ubiqueComment by bspurgeon: Funny, the tilt didn't even register until I read some of the comments. Looks natural, and what wonderful sweet face. I wonder how many kids she has, I see at least 5 different sizes drying. |

dawn's early lightby ubiqueComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: A very nice blurry abstract - but what blur! I really like the helical pattern you have produced and the colours are perfect for this - the deep red and blue combination works really well. The whole thing makes me wonder what the underpinning subject is.
Critical stuff: Nothing really.
Overall: A really super abstract. |

the Confiteorby ubiqueComment by posthumous: You and Steve surprised me with how much narrative you put into your photos for this challenge, almost to the point of camp (the narrative is campy rather than the style of the photo). I like to think this is your tribute to my affection for camp and for "set up" shots like the work of silverfoxx (feel free to let me keep thinking that).
The "sharp blur" in this photo is just ravishing to look at, and how the face is rendered so differently than the hook. |
