Fireworksby AzrifelComment by nfessel: The best part of this is the "whirs" (swirls) of the rockets going up. Great exposure time and good composition. |

Fireworksby AzrifelComment by Konador: Composition: 8 - Very good with the black space on the left balanced by including the ferris wheel and buildings. Nice job.
Technical: 7 - Very nice firework shot. Lots of detail, lots of interest, just maybe slightly too bright in the bottom white firework, distracting attention away from the others.
Creativity: 6 - The composition and inclusion of the water and background buildings do make this better than the average firework shot.
Appeal: 6 - Nice interesting shot to look at :)
Overall Calculated Average Score: 6 |

Thanks for your kind words.
The line under the wheels are the kurbstones. The line isn't straight because I held the camera at an angle to create an angled line. When you shoot it straight on, the scene looks flat and dull. This way you create a bit of depth and flow trough the frame.
It's not hard to straighten it out but it looks a lot duller.

Thanks.
I might try DPC prints. The thing that held me back with all my MC shots (I also have similar MotoGP work) is the portrait right of the riders. I don't know how DPC will handle that, but I can try. If you want a print of this let me know. I will try to put it up at DPC or maybe make one myself on good paper if you are seriously interested.
