Nice color and presentation. My personal preference would be more depth of field on this particular photo. Since all of your subject material is in close quarters, I can't see any real advantage in trying to isolate a single part of it.

Very nice rendition of the challenge. The broken nut is in great focus, I also like the use of the leaf as background, keeps it nicely organic. The color of the chestnuts? against the green leaf gives it a bit more pop as well. Well done. 7

Good shot none the less just a shame that the strand of hair in her right eye makes you lose the main focal point a little, still... nothing you could do about that if it was a sneeky shot :0)
