Lighthouse "Paard van Marken"by AzrifelComment by Azrifel: There is no grass around the lighthouse. Those are muddy gray stones. The lighthouse regularly has to withstand ice that was pushed over the dike. I was told that ice once pushed the previous version over. Thise one was moved halve an inch by it.
Thanks for your comment Cher. |

Lighthouse "Paard van Marken"by AzrifelComment by smilebig4me1x: i like this one the best as the yellow of the others doesnt do the beautiful lighthouse or scene justice like the blue does. i would try to make your grass greener around the lighthouse. it would really make the photo pop for me. and try to remove the blue color cast from the light house with the lasso tool and droping the blue sats. these two small things would make this an excellent photo IMHO :o) |

Lighthouse "Paard van Marken"by AzrifelComment by Jutilda: I might think this was way overexposed, but I'm thinking this yellowish coloration is your intent. I do like it very much with all the sails lined up in a row leading sideways to the lighthouse. Nice! |

1922 by AzrifelComment by Azrifel: Thanks all, didn't expect this at all. You made me very happy. :)
About the angle this is shot at (why not more attention to the steam at both sides): There is a modern big and ugly industrial area right behind the train. The train hides it all. An angle to include more of the steam would also have shown that area. |
